ILM "back in the days" documentary
It shows how much work goes into VFX when you have to do everything by hand.
Amazing to watch.
Grischa Theissen // Just a small blog to show my latest ideas/concepts/tests/work and post interesting links.

A tutorial by Michael Vance about Global Illumination in Cinema4D.
Haven't read it by now but hopefully I'll find some time in the next days.
Seems to be a nice source of information about that topic.

A really nice overview over the different noise styles in Cinema4D.A small test I did in Cinema4D. Just to fill my evening with something productive.
Probably I'll work on that again in the next few days.
I found this fantastic 3D Artist on the web. He has some great work in his portfolio and some tutorials as well.
Unfortunately he is working with 3D Studio Max so I have to "translate" every step in Cinema4D to follow along.
And also his building generator is 3D Studio Max only, as far as I know. Take a look at his gallery to see some amazing animations.
Here is my first real thinking particle test.
I'm aiming for another result but I'm quite happy with the result for now.
